Who we are
Neon Rhino builds and hosts websites for small businesses. We are responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach us at legal@neonrhino.co.
What we collect
When you build a preview. The answers you type into the builder (your business name, city, service areas, services, hours, phone, public email, license number, booking link, facts about your business and your design choices) stay in your browser while you build. Photos you add are resized on your device and are not uploaded to us.
When you reserve your build. We store your answers together with your name, your email address and, if you give it, your phone number. We use them to contact you about your build and to build your site.
Security checks. When you submit the form, your IP address is used briefly to limit repeated submissions and is passed to Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person, not a bot, sent the form. We do not store your IP address with your reservation.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and buttons are used. It never receives the answers you type into the form.
Cookies
- nr_consent remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics.
- nr_geo notes whether you are in a region where we ask before using analytics.
- _ga and _ga_* are set by Google Analytics to count visits.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google Analytics does not load until you choose Accept, and you can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Choosing Decline removes the Google Analytics cookies. Elsewhere, Google Analytics loads with advertising features turned off.
Why we use your information
- To answer your reservation and build the site you asked for, which is a step you asked us to take before a contract.
- To keep the form safe from spam and abuse, which is in our legitimate interest and yours.
- To understand how the site is used, with your consent where the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
Who helps us
These providers handle information for us under their own terms and only to provide their service:
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Supabase stores reservations.
- Resend sends our emails, including your confirmation.
- Cloudflare runs the Turnstile security check and our domain name service.
- Google provides Google Analytics.
These providers are based in the United States, so your information may be processed there. Where the law requires it, we rely on the safeguards these providers offer for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep a reservation while we are building or hosting your site. If you do not become a customer, we delete your reservation within 24 months of our last contact with you, or sooner if you ask.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it. Email legal@neonrhino.co and we will answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to receive a copy of your information and to complain to your local data protection authority.
Health information
Please do not send us health information about yourself or anyone else. Our form is for business details only.
Children
Neon Rhino is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
